It has been awhile since the blog was last updated and we had any news to share.
The good news is we have had some recent changes in our lives that we are excited to share. The bad news is we won't be sharing it just yet. ;) Stay tuned! In the meantime, I [Rachel] wanted to share something meaningful to me. For those who don't know, I went to Messiah College and spent most of my free time dancing in the ministry called Acclamation Dance Ministry. I have countless memories and stories from my 4 years involved in the ministry, but usually they are just memories and I am not reminded of them often. Today was different. My junior and senior year I was blessed to lead the Advanced Ballet class. With that, came choreographing the end of year dance for that class. Both years I chose songs that had melodies that touched me and lyrics I could connect with. It never occurred to me that those two songs would continue to resonate for me in the 10+ years since being out of college. They are similar songs in their main message:
God is ALWAYS enough
They are beautiful songs that both popped up "randomly" during my errands this morning. Since nothing with God is ever "random", I know when I need to pay attention.
Through difficult seasons in our lives, songs like these can help us refocus our hearts on Who should be the focus instead of ourselves. He is Rock, our Redeemer, and our Firm Foundation. I hope these songs can bring you joy and hope and encouragement today as they did me. Rachel
